Sustainable Event Education

What is Sustainable Event Education?

Sustainable Event Education helps organizations understand how conferences, campus events, corporate gatherings, trade shows, and community events can be planned with sustainability in mind. Participants learn practical strategies for reducing event waste, reusing materials, and creating positive environmental and social impact.

Who can participate in Sustainable Event Education workshops?

Our workshops are designed for universities, colleges, corporations, conference organizers, municipalities, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups.

Why is Sustainable Event Education important?

Many events generate significant amounts of temporary signage, décor, promotional materials, and other single-use items. Sustainable Event Education provides organizations with practical tools and knowledge to reduce waste and make more informed event planning decisions.

Are Sustainable Event Education workshops available virtually?

Yes. We offer both virtual and in-person educational sessions depending on the needs of the organization, audience size, and event format.

What topics are covered in Sustainable Event Education workshops?

Topics may include event waste reduction, circular economy principles, sustainable event practices, event sign upcycling, event banner reuse, sustainable procurement, community impact, and ESG initiatives.

Interactive Clipboard-Making Workshops

What is an Interactive Clipboard-Making Workshop?

Participants transform retired event signs into functional clipboards while learning about sustainability, circular economy principles, event waste reduction, and community impact.

Are the workshops free?

We are proud to offer complimentary Interactive Clipboard-Making Workshops for groups of up to 30 participants. Customized workshop packages are available for larger groups and events.

What happens to the clipboards after the workshop?

Completed clipboards are donated to youth-serving organizations across Canada, helping extend the impact of event materials long after an event has ended.

Who can host a Clipboard-Making Workshop?

Workshops are ideal for corporations, universities, colleges, conferences, community groups, municipalities, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.

What do participants learn during the workshop?

Participants learn about event waste reduction, material reuse, sustainable event practices, circular economy concepts, and how organizations can create meaningful environmental and social impact.

Event Sign Upcycling

What happens to event signs after an event?

Many event signs are discarded, stored indefinitely, or sent to landfill after a conference, trade show, fundraiser, campus event, or corporate gathering. Event Sign Upcycling provides a sustainable alternative.

What products can be made from retired event signs?

Retired event signs can be transformed into clipboards, vision boards, art tiles, and other practical or educational products.

Why choose upcycling instead of disposal?

Upcycling helps extend the life of materials, reduce waste, support circular economy principles, and create meaningful community impact.

What types of event signs can be upcycled?

Conference signs, sponsor boards, directional signage, foam core signs, promotional displays, and other temporary event signage may be suitable for upcycling projects.

How does Event Sign Upcycling support sustainability goals?

Event Sign Upcycling helps organizations divert materials from landfill, reduce event waste, demonstrate environmental leadership, and support broader sustainability initiatives.
