MB Designs Inc. has chosen to focus on donating your upcycled single use event items to Indigenous, Marginalized and Low Income Youth living across Canada.
These youth face significant systemic challenges, including disproportionately high poverty rates (especially for First Nations, Inuit, Métis), food insecurity, housing issues, poorer health outcomes, and barriers in education, linked to historic colonialism and ongoing discrimination.
We work closely with each of our chosen Youth Initiatives and make sure that we are sending upcycled products on your behalf that are of the greatest need for them, focusing on curating empowering products that will help them excel and create positive change.
MB Designs Inc. acts as the bridge connecting your company's upcycling initiatives with these youth. Along with supporting your sustainability goals by diverting single use event items from landfill, you are also creating a profound and impactful experience for so many deserving kids. We are humbled to be an extension of your team, on this epic sustainable journey you are taking.
Whether you choose to donate your products, or upcycle them for employee incentives, or perhaps a client thank-you, you are embarking on a great jump off point to start the conversation and open the door to awareness on sustainability.
Sometimes the simplest of stories, like how that foam core sign at your last event has now made it's way to a "fly-in only" indigenous community to youth in need in northern Canada with a hand written note on why everyone matters, will spark even more amazing positive change. Or how that stylish duffle bag one of your employees is walking around the office with, was once just an old outdated trade show banner that was diverted from landfill.
Let the sustainable story telling begin...
